MVHS artists showcase masterpieces at Senior Art Exhibition

The Mount Vernon High School's Art Department will host its Senior Art Exhibition from May 5 to May 14, with gallery hours open daily on weekdays from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

The exhibit will be held at the MVNU Schnormeier Gallery, located in the Buchwald Center, a landmark venue conveniently situated next to the iconic dog fountain.

This event will showcase the creativity, passion, and dedication of the school's talented senior students. This year’s exhibition proudly highlights the works of the following outstanding Mount Vernon High School senior artists:

• Grace Gentry
• Quinn Hardy
• Anthony Liberati
• Lily Schoenfeld

• Emma Wares

A special reception will take place on Friday, May 9, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.. This exclusive event provides an excellent opportunity to meet the featured artists, engage in conversations about their creative journeys, and enjoy a delightful spread of cookies and punch. 

The community is invited to support the young artists and celebrate their accomplishments.
