The Utica Redskins Athletic Boosters are harnessing the energy of the season to make a lasting impact. Through their Spring Clean-Up Scrap Drive, they're encouraging residents to recycle scrap metal while directly supporting local athletics.
The event is made possible by the sponsorship of Crispin Iron & Metal, a company that has been offering Licking County residents a reliable option for disposing of scrap metals since 1961.
The Utica Redskins Athletic Boosters are pleased to announce the tremendous support received from the community. Thanks to generous contributions, the dumpster placed in the Utica High School parking lot is now completely filled with donations. However, scrap metal donations are still welcome and can be dropped off at the sponsor's facility, located at 629 New Haven Ave., Newark, OH, until May 1. To ensure the donation benefits the Redskins Athletic Boosters Scrap Drive, simply designate the scrap for this cause.
"The dumpster is full! Thank you Redskin Supporters!" Jessica Krueger posted on Facebook.
All proceeds from the drive will be donated by Crispin Iron & Metal to the organization and will directly benefit the Utica Redskins Athletic Boosters.
