Centerburg Middle and High Schools have announced important back-to-school dates, including schedule pickups, student orientations, and an open house for families.

From Monday, Aug. 5 through Thursday, Aug. 8, students in grades 6–12 will visit the school to pick up class schedules for the 2024–25 academic year. The process kicks off Monday morning with seniors, juniors, and College Credit Plus (CCP) students. Each subsequent day will be designated for other grade levels, with a final makeup session on Thursday for any students unable to attend earlier in the week.

School officials are encouraging families to log in to their Final Forms accounts to update and electronically sign all required documents before arriving on campus. Completing this step in advance will help streamline the pickup process and avoid delays.

In addition to schedule distribution, the district is preparing to welcome students and their families at the annual Open House on Sunday, Aug. 11. The event will take place from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. at Centerburg Middle/High School, located at 3782 Columbus Road. Teachers and staff will be available to greet students, answer questions, and assist with locating classrooms.

Also on Aug. 11, orientation sessions will be held for students entering key transitional years. Sixth-grade orientation begins at 6:00 p.m., followed by ninth-grade orientation at 6:30 p.m. These programs are designed to help new middle and high school students feel comfortable with their schedules, meet some of their teachers, and get acquainted with the building layout.

The first day of classes for all Centerburg Middle and High School students is Tuesday, Aug. 13.

The Centerburg Local School District administrative office is located at 119 S. Preston Street, Centerburg, OH 43011.
