Barbara Dodson Simmons Chambliss passed away on March 18, 2025.
She was born November 25, 1942, in Columbus, Ohio to parents Frank (Pearl) and Roseanna Dodson.
Barbara attended Bishop Hartley High School and Holy Spirit for services.
She was preceded in death by siblings Louie, John, and Rita and is survived by Annie (Carnes), Robert, and Frank.
Barbara was married to Larry Simmons and had 3 children, Chris (Hawkins), Dirk Simmons, and Scot Simmons, who passed in 2020. She later married Harold Chambliss, who preceded her in death.
Barbara retired from Kenyon College Library.
She did not wish to have services. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to St.Vincent de Paul church.
