June E. Woodruff | Provided/Carol Hess

June E. Woodruff passed away at her home on Saturday, Feb. 15, 2025.

Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m., Tuesday, March 4, 2025, at Fenton-Kendrick Funeral Home, with burial to follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery in Columbia.

Visitation will be held from 12 p.m. until the time of the service on Tuesday at the funeral home.

June is survived by her son, Douglas Woodruff, a sister, Christine, niece and nephew, Renee and Alan.

June was preceded in death by her husband, Carroll Woodruff, Sr., her son, Carroll Woodruff, Jr., her parents, Benjamin and Ethel, and her brother, Leon.

June served her country in the U.S. Military and was a loving caregiver as a dedicated nurse. She volunteered in service to her church and various charitable groups. June cared deeply for her friends and family and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

June was a devout Christian who spent most her free time at church working with children, or giving rides to co-workers and friends, or visiting with people at nursing homes.

Doug would like to thank St. Croix Hospice for their great care, especially, Judy, Abaigael, and Harry. He would also like to thank the V.A. Hospital and Visiting Angels.

He wants to acknowledge the great care his brother Carroll gave his mother, even when he was working full-time, his love for his mother was just as strong as mine, because of that, she was able to pass at home. Mom was the rock of our family and will now be with Jesus in heaven.

We love you, Mom. God Bless You.

Memorial donations are suggested to St. Croix Hospice and may be sent in care of Fenton-Kendrick Funeral Home, 104 S. Collier St. Centralia, MO 65240.
