The second annual Pro Volleyball Federation Draft on Monday featured five rounds with 40 total selections. Ohio State graduate and standout opposite hitter Emily Londot was selected as the 10th overall pick in the second round by the Omaha Supernovas, marking her transition to professional volleyball.
Londot enjoyed a stellar career at Ohio State, competing in 521 sets across 141 matches over five seasons. She ranks second in program history in kills (2,198) and points (2,498), while also placing in the top ten for block assists, total blocks, and digs. In 2024, she became just the second Buckeye to achieve 2,000 career kills, 2,000 career points, and 1,000 career digs. Her freshman season earned her accolades such as AVCA National Freshman of the Year, Big Ten Freshman of the Year, and a spot on the Big Ten All-Freshman Team. Over her career, Londot earned four All-Big Ten selections, with three on the first team, and two unanimous honors. She was also a two-time AVCA All-American Second Team honoree and the AVCA Northeast Region Player of the Year in 2022. Her 2023 season was particularly impressive, with averages of 5.06 kills per set and 5.51 points per set, ranking fourth and sixth nationally.
Off the court, Londot excelled academically, earning an undergraduate degree in sport industry and pursuing a master’s in kinesiology. She was a three-time OSU Scholar-Athlete, Academic All-Big Ten honoree, and a CSC Academic All-America Second Team selection in 2023.
Before college, Londot was a standout at Utica High School and in club volleyball. She won gold medals with the U.S. Girl’s Youth National Team in 2018 and 2019 and was a 2019 Under Armour First Team All-American. She was also a four-time All-Ohio honoree, a three-time Central District Player of the Year, and earned multiple national-level awards while playing for Mintonette Sports.
