Two Fredericktown FFA teams competed in the Knox County Parliamentary Procedure competitions at the Fredericktown School District Administration Building.

According to Roberts Rules of Order, teams must complete a test to measure their general knowledge of parliamentary procedure.

In the contests, six members were asked to complete a written test and conduct a meeting using parliamentary procedure and demonstrate different abilities that are given; the secretary needed to be present to take neat and accurate notes of the meeting.

For the advanced and intermediate team, each member was required to come up with an additional ability that was not listed on their assigned agenda. The assigned agenda needed to be conducted, at this meeting, in under 12 minutes.

For the novice team, the eight members are required to run the meeting, and they also had to recite the FFA opening and closing ceremonies - in under 15 minutes.

The advanced team placed 5th with a silver rating, and the novice team placed 5th with a silver rating as well.

The Fredericktown FFA advisor is Debra Burden.
