Habitat for Humanity Rare Bourbon Raffle offers 10 prizes

The Habitat for Humanity of Knox County, Ohio, continues its Bottle for Builds, Rare Bourbon Raffle 2024 with a grand prize valued at over $3,000. The organization plans to sell a maximum of 1,000 tickets.

According to a press release from the nonprofit organization, the proceeds from the raffle will support Habitat for Humanity's work in the county. The drawing for 10 prizes is scheduled for April 12, and tickets can be purchased on the Habitat website.

In another press release from the nonprofit organization, it was clarified that participants must be at least 21 years old to purchase tickets. However, they are not required to be present at the drawing to win. Prizes must be collected by winners from Habitat for Humanity of Knox County offices located at 13246 Wooster Road, Mount Vernon. Winners must present a valid ID to claim their prizes.

The grand prize of the raffle includes George T Stagg, Blanton’s Gold Edition, Johnnie Walker Black, Stagg Jr., Jack Daniels Sinatra Edition, EH Taylor Small Batch, Remus Gatsby Edition, Elijah Craig Toasted Barrel, Elijah Craig Barrel Proof B523, Buffalo Trace, Old Soul, Barrell, Wathens, Sazerac and Heaven Hill BiB as per another press release from the nonprofit organization.

According to yet another press release from the nonprofit organization,the second prize winner will receive Weller Full Proof, Weller 12 year, Weller Antique 107, Weller Special Reserve, Buffalo Trace, Blanton’s, Benchmark Small Batch and Ancient Ancient Age 1.5L.

By the end of 2023, Habitat for Humanity had mobilized volunteers who served more than 28 families by providing safe and affordable housing. The press release further stated that its programs expanded to support county residents with mobility limitations through the Ramp Up Knox County Program.
