The community is invited to the 2025 “For Your Health” 5K Run/Walk & 1-mile Fun Walk, happening on Saturday, July 19, at The Dawes Arboretum. Hosted by the Licking Memorial Hospital Development Council in partnership with The Dawes Arboretum, The Buckeye Valley Family YMCA, and Park National Bank, this event is designed to bring the community together through movement, fresh air, and healthy living.

Participants can choose to run or walk the scenic 5K course or opt for the lighter 1-mile Fun Walk. The timed 5K kicks off promptly at 8:00 a.m., followed by the untimed Fun Walk. 

Advance registration is highly encouraged. Runners and walkers using timing chips were allowed to register for $15 until July 11 at 5:00 p.m., a late registration fee of $20 will be applied thereafter. Participation in the Fun Walk or untimed portions of the event is free, although registration is still required. Early registrants may pick up race packets on Friday, July 18, from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the LMH First Floor Conference Room. Others may collect packets on race morning between 7:00 and 7:45 a.m..

Top finishers will be celebrated with awards given to the Top 3 Overall Male and Female runners, as well as to the Top 3 participants in each age division. And for everyone who crosses the finish line, a participation medal will be awarded as a token of accomplishment and community spirit.
