Mount Vernon City Schools invited area senior citizens to its annual Fall Luncheon on Nov. 15. The event is a yearly celebration of the connection between the district's seniors and the educational institution.

"Area senior citizens were invited to the annual Mount Vernon City Schools Fall Luncheon on Nov. 15", said Mount Vernon City Schools.

According to Superintendent Bill Seder, the Food Services Department prepared a "fabulous lunch that promises to be a culinary delight." This information was made available via a news release from Mount Vernon City Schools.

The luncheon took place at the Mount Vernon High School Gymnasium from noon until 2 p.m., according to another press release from Mount Vernon City Schools. Afterward, student entertainment was provided in the MVHS Theater as per an additional announcement made by Mount Vernon City Schools.
