Carson Campbell finished the regular season with a huge showing, going off for four touchdowns and 222 yards to lead Northmor (7-2, 5-1) to a 34-7 win over Loudonville (3-7, 2-5) on Friday night. The Golden Knights finished the regular season on five game winning streak and are red hot just in time for the postseason.
Northmor led 21-0 after one quarter, with Campbell rushing for scores of 16-yards, 42-yards and 58-yards. Caleb Schnuerer hit extra points after each touchdown. In the second quarter Jax Wenger caught a 20-yard touchdown pass by AJ Bower, and Schnuerer made it 28-0 on the extra point.
In the third quarter Matt Sprang put Loudonville on the board with a 15-yard touchdown pass to Baylor Weiser. Aidan Neibert hit the extra point to make it a 28-7 game. Campbell ran the ball in from 11-yards out in the fourth quarter to go up 34-7 for the final.
Campbell had 15 carries for 222 yards and four touchdowns in the win for Northmor, in what was one of the best games of the sophomore running back's career to date. Paul Cramer ran 14 times for 99 yards. Northmor had 305 total rushing yards in the game.
Bower was 10-for-23 for 166 yards and a touchdown. His favorite receiver was Wenger with four catches for 48 yards and a touchdown. Wenger had an interception on defense. Hunter Fulk caught three passes for 32 yards, Bo Landin had a 41-yard catch and Cowin Becker caught one pass for 37-yards.
The Redbirds were led by Sprang going 9-for-29 for 124 yards and a touchdown pass. Hunter Polen caught four passes for 46 yards. Weiser had two catches for 23 yards and a score. Cam Beachy ran seven times for 30 yards. On defense, Dilan Wade had an interception to lead the defense.
