HOWARD – Tazuko Davis, 92, of Howard, passed away on May 27, 2023, at her residence. She was born on Oct. 1, 1930, in Gifu City, Japan.
Tazuko enjoyed Sudoku puzzles, playing cards, shopping, sewing and going to Southside Diner for breakfast. Her favorite thing was spending time with family, especially her great-grandchildren. They brought her so much joy. Tazuko was extremely happy to be welcomed to Ohio when she moved here, and she said everyone made her feel at home here in the Buckeye State.
Tazuko is survived by her children, Teresa (Joe) Greco of Glen Burnie, Maryland, Keith (Fran) Davis of Baltimore, Maryland and Edna (John Kuzniar) Davis of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; grandchildren, Justin, Jessie, Stephanie, Keith Jr. and Alan; 10 great-grandchildren; her brother, Shiro and many extended family members.
Her husband, Larry Davis, and her parents preceded her in death.
Tazuko’s remains will be laid to rest with her husband at Arlington National Cemetery later.
