A tribute to Richard L. Ward (Dick)
Your passing 25 years ago - it was “Good Friday”, April 10, 1998. As morning came about it was our same routine, a peaceful feeling we all shared. Then abruptly your short lived life was taken. A true blessing with love and dedication to family and friends you had always been. As our morning awakens every day we still focus on your memory - as evening comes you’re the brighest shining star watching over us, guiding us with direction and never letting go. The days became months, followed by years since you were here - yet we often still see a red cardinal as such as the very day you were taken. As a comfort feeling arrives for we know you’re the shadow that still walks with us - as we still hear you wisper - as we know in our hearts you will never let go. You are still and will always be our Rock - a messenger from Heaven through God our Savior.
