MOUNT VERNON — Mark Kevin Farley, 62, formerly of Mount Vernon, passed away Friday Feb. 24, 2023, at Majestic Care in Connersville, Indiana. Mark lived in Rising Sun, Indiana, for the past three years.
The oldest of two boys of Daniel and Shirley (Brearley) Farley, Mark was born on Dec. 3, 1960, in Mount Vernon and was a member of the MVHS Class of 1979. He served his country with honor in the Air Force. Mark was vice president of Burns Security in San Antonio before relocating to Rising Sun.
Mark is survived by his three children, Jordan (and James) Murray of New Braunfels, Texas, Ryan Farley of Woodlands, Texas, and Jacob (and Bekah) Farley of Van Buren, Arkansas; his brother Greg (and Kalei) Farley; nephew Kai Farley of Kona, Hawaii; step brothers Zane and Jason Carter, originally from Mount Vernon, now residing in Michigan; cousins Kim Miller of Van Wert, Ohio, and Jason Miller of Dallas; and aunt Marla Martin of Florida.
Mark was preceded in death by both his parents and his step mother, Rita Farley.
Services were held on Feb. 27 at Miller, Moster, Robbins Funeral Home in Connersville, Indiana, and online condolences can be made to their website, MillerMosterRobbins.com.
