MOUNT VERNON – Lee Ann Crider, 89, of Mount Vernon passed away unexpectedly on Saturday morning, Nov. 19, 2022, at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, South Carolina. She was born on April 7, 1933, in Mount Vernon to the late Noah and Martina (O’Brien) Tindall.
Lee Ann was a faithful member of Saint Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Mount Vernon and a member of the Soroptimist International of Mount Vernon and Knox County. She retired from Sprint as an administrator.
Lee Ann is survived by 14 loving nieces and nephews and numerous great-nieces and -nephews; and a special friend and partner, Lawrence McLernon.
In addition to her parents, Lee Ann was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne L. Crider, in 2004; sisters, Margaret Reese and Marjorie Curry; brothers, Charles and James Tindall; and a nephew, David Tindall.
The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 29, at the Snyder Funeral Homes, Flowers Chapel, 619 East High St., Mount Vernon. The Rosary will be recited following the visitation.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 30, at Saint Vincent de Paul Catholic Church with Rev. Father P.J. Brandimarti as the Celebrant. Lee Ann will be laid to rest beside her husband, Wayne in Mount Calvary Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, Lee Ann requested that donations be made to Saint Vincent de Paul Catholic School, 206 East Chestnut St., Mount Vernon, OH 43050.
