MOUNT VERNON – On Thursday, Sept. 1, 2022, Judy A. Moffitt, neé Judy Frady, loving wife and mother, passed away at the age of 79. She was born Feb. 12, 1943, in Beloit, WI, to Marvin and Dorothy Frady.
She grew up in Mount Vernon, where she graduated from Mount Vernon High School, and eventually moved to Erlanger, Kentucky, in 1989. She was a retired secretary, life-long church pianist and member of Beechgrove Baptist Church. She loved easy-listening music, suspense novels, crossword puzzles, pizza and cats. Married Dec. 15, 1974, to Deke C. Moffitt, they raised one daughter: Brenda.
Judy is survived by her husband, daughter and three brothers: Jerry (Becky) Frady of Chicago, IL, Dwaine Frady and Jim (Ruth) Frady, both of Mount Vernon; three nieces; and two nephews.
