The Knox County Republican Party invites the community to attend the July Chairman’s Reception on Monday, July 18, from 6-8 p.m. at Mazza’s Restaurant, 11587 Upper Gilchrist Road in Mount Vernon.
This month's guest will be Matt Damschroder, director of the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services.
Damschroder will be discussing the state of foster care in Ohio, recent efforts taken by ODJFS and the DeWine Administration to improve the system and how you can help. The director speaks from personal experience, as he and his wife were foster parents and have adopted two children.
This event is hosted by the Knox County Republican Party but is open to the general public. Local Republicans are especially encouraged to attend, as attendance supports the Knox County Republican Party and local candidates.
Free appetizers and a cash bar will be available, as well as a split-the-pot drawing.
