Mount Vernon’s All Out Soccer Club (a ministry of New Life Church) had a successful end of the season as the club took part in the Heart of Ohio Youth Soccer Association Tournament in Centerburg, May 1. The HOYSA consists of teams from All Out SC-Mt Vernon, Centerburg, Cardington and KASA-Marion.
The All Out SC Tornadoes won the 12-team U8 Division, defeating Centerburg #1 in the semifinals by a score of 11-4, before winning the finals against fellow club member and runner-up All Out SC Thunder by a tight score of 4-3.
In the U10 Division, the All Out SC Rapids placed third in the 10-team field after losing a tight battle against No.1 seed Marion #1 4-3, before winning the consolation game against fellow club member All Out SC Earthquakes, 4-1.
In the Division II U10 bracket, the All Out SC Galaxy took the top spot by beating both Centerburg #2 and Marion #2.
In addition to competing in the HOYSA Tournament, the All Out SC U15 team participated in the 2022 Middle School Soccer Association tournament in Gahanna on Sunday, May 22. The All Out SC U15s took the Silver Division Championship by defeating Delaware Knights Black by a score of 2-0. The team finished with a record of 10-1-2 on the season.
