Mohican Lodge 13, Howard Hilton 9

Howard Hilton took a 3-1 lead in the first, but Mohican Lodge put up nine runs in the fourth, then withstood a Hilton rally to win 13-9. Corbin Wengerd and Tim Burrell led Mohican with four hits each, and JJ Eshelman and Rachel Goeppinger each had four hits for Hilton.

Howard Hilton 7, Maximum Nutrition 4

Both teams scored a run in the first inning and held the tie until the fifth inning, when Howard Hilton scored two runs to go up 3-1. The lead didn’t last long with Maximum Nutrition scoring three runs to go up 4-3, but Howard Hilton scored a run in the sixth and three more in the seventh to secure the win. Howard Hilton was led by JJ Eshelman and Rachel Goeppinger, who had three hits apiece. Carl Busse had a double in the game. Maximum Nutrition was led by Shawn Maxwell, who had four hits, including a double. 

Buckeye Crane 10, Coffing Electric LLC 9

Coffing Electric started the game off with a 2-1 lead after the first inning and each team scored in the second to make it a 3-2 game. Coffing Electric Went up 6-2, but in the bottom of the fourth, Buckeye Crane scored four runs to tie the game 6-6, and went up 7-6 with a one run fifth. Coffing Electric scored three in the sixth inning to take the 9-7 lead, but Buckeye Crane battled back with a two-run sixth and a run in the seventh to win. Coffing Electric was led by Lee Caudill, who had the game’s only homer. Buckeye Crane was led by Owen Miller, who had three hits, including a triple.

Coffing Electric 15, Outkast 3

Coffing Electric scored six in the second and Outkast responded with three runs in the third inning to make it a 6-3 game. But that is all Outkast could muster as Coffing Electric scored two in the fifth and sixth, and then exploded for five more in the seventh inning. Miranda Martindale had two singles and a double for Coffing Electric, and leading the Outkast squad was Mackenzie Ernsberger with two hits, including a double.

TJ Thorpe 18, Outkast 4

TJ Thorpe exploded for five runs in the first and six runs in the third inning to take an 11-0 lead and never looked back. Outkast scored a run in the first and three in the third, but TJ Thorpe scored five runs and two runs in those innings respectively. Mike Patterson had two singles and two doubles to lead TJ Thorpe. Outkast had a triple from Mike Collins and a double from Hailey Moore.

TJ Thorpe 22, Tubba’s Tops 2

TJ Thorpe had a 12-1 lead after one inning and while Tubba’s Tops scored in the second inning. It was all TJ Thorpe from there. Artie McAndrew had five hits, including a triple and double, and Bryce Geiger had a triple and two doubles for TJ Thorpe. Donnell Marshal homered for Tubba’s Tops 

Honey Buckets 14, The Hangout 1

Honey Buckets Tavern scored five runs in the first inning to set the tone, followed by a two-run second, a five-run third and a two-run fifth. The Hangout’s only run came in the fifth inning. For  Honey Buckets, Travis Born launched the game’s only home run, and Adamm O’Bryan had a pair of doubles. Zach Bragg led the Hangout with a triple and two singles.

The Hangout 24, Mohican Lodge 1

The Hangout had a dominant victory over Mohican Lodge highlighted by an eight-run inning to end the game in the fifth. They scored three runs in the first, four runs in the second, five runs in the third and four more in the fourth. Mohican Lodge scored one run in the fourth inning. Zach Bragg had four hits, including two triples and a double, for the Hangout. Jess Gooden had a pair of hits, including a double, for Mohican Lodge.

Honey Buckets 14, Precision Floor and Trim 2

It was a 3-1 Honey Buckets lead in the third inning, but Honey Buckets scored seven runs in the third and four runs in the fifth to run away with the game. Precision scored in the second and the fifth. Honey Buckets was led by Ethan Abell, who had two hits, including the game’s only homer. Andrew Walls had two hits for Precision.

J. Gorsuch Construction 19, Precision Floor and Trim 19

After both teams scored three runs in the first inning, J. Gorsuch took a commanding lead of 12-6 by the fourth inning. However Precision took the lead in the fifth with a seven-run inning, but in the bottom half of the inning J. Gorsuch scored three runs and made it a 15-13 game. Precision scored six more runs in the sixth inning but J. Gorsuch came back to tie with a four-run sixth. Luke Yetzer had five hits, including two homers and a double, to lead J. Gorsuch. Austin Wyatt had a triple and a home run for Precision.

Maximum Nutrition 10, A-Plus Auto Brokers 3

A-Plus Auto Brokers scored three runs to start the game and had a 3-2 lead after one inning, but they couldn’t manage to find home plate any further with Maximum Nutrition picking up an easy victory. Maximum Nutrition had three runs in the second and fourth innings, and a two run fifth. Maximum Nutrition was led by Shawn Maxwell, who had four hits, including a homer. Ben Metcalfe had a double and a single for A-Plus.

Honey Buckets 23, A-Plus Auto Brokers 2

Honey Buckets picked up five runs in the first inning and dominated every inning on the way to victory. They had a three runs second, six run third and sixth, and a three run fourth. A-Plus scored a run apiece in the second and third inning. Brandon Davis was the star for the Honey Buckets with a homer and two doubles. A-Plus was led by Ben Matcalfe’s homer.

Bad Company 14, J. Gorsuch Construction 9

Bad company had a four run first and held a 5-3 lead going into the fourth inning when Bad Company added four runs to make it a 9-3 game. J. Gorsuch responded with five runs to make it a one-run game and then tied it with a run in the sixth. Bad Company crossed the plate five times in the sixth and shut down J. Gorsuch to take the win. Jordan Burson and Travis Cornell each had three hits, including a double, for Bad Company. Cody Smith homered for J. Gorsuch.

Bad Company 16, Buckeye Crane 2

Bad Company had a shutout the whole way until the final inning when Buckeye Crane scored two runs. But it was all Bad Company, who opened the game with four runs and followed with a three run second, one run fourth, three run fifth and a five run sixth. Josh Hall led Bad Company with a homer and two singles. Owen Miller had three hits, including a double, for Buckeye Crane.

Ace of Diamonds 15, Tubba's Tops 14

Ace of Diamonds looked like they were running away with the game going up 14-2 into the fifth inning, but Tubba Tops scored four runs in the fifth and almost came back for the win with an eight-run sixth. Ace of Diamonds managed to fend off the surging Tubba Tops with a 15-14 win. Sammy Hunter had three hits, including a double, for Ace of Diamonds. Trey Kendrick had a homer and a single for Tubba Tops.

Buckeye Crane 23, Ace of Diamonds 6

Buckeye Crane and Ace of Diamonds both scored three runs in the first, and Buckeye Crane took the lead with a run in the second. It was a 10-6 game going into the fourth, but then Buckeye Crane exploded for 13 runs in the fourth. Jarred Curry had a homer for Buckeye Crane, and Owen Miller had two triples and a single. Sam DiPizalu of the Ace of Diamonds needed only a triple for the cycle, tallying a homer, double and single on the day.
