NEWARK – A funeral service for Thomas H. Beatty, 74, of Newark will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, April 15, at Law-Baker Funeral Home, 34 N. Main St., Utica, with Pastor Karl Boettcher officiating. Burial will follow at Newark Memorial Gardens with military honors provided by the Licking County Veterans Alliance.
The family will receive friends on Thursday from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Thomas passed away on April 5, 2022, at his residence. He was born on June 25, 1947, in Mount Vernon to the late Grace Esther (Sherwood) and Billy Clinton Beatty.
Tom graduated from East Knox High School in 1965. He served honorably in the U.S. Army during Vietnam. He retired from Newark Air Force Base.
He is survived by his son, Scott (Sarah Fulmer) Beatty; daughter, Heidi (Bryan) Burgett; and sister, Yvonne (John) Drye.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Tamara Beatty.
