Fifteen members were present as Morgan Grange met for its monthly meeting on Friday, Jan. 14. Master Will Smith presided over the meeting as roll call was taken and minutes were read and approved.
Jim Hughes, Tom Debolt and Bob Smith have started the process of replacing the grange's lighting system with LED bulbs. The five exit light replacements are next on the agenda. New handicap ramps have been installed at the upper level exit. Mary and James Jordan purchased and will install a new gooseneck kitchen faucet with sprayer.
Ned Campbell reported that Dartball games have started. Thank you cards were received from Aileen and Ron Hiltner and Eddie and Nancy Wilkin for Christmas fruit plates. Concerns were expressed for Kim Ward, Robert Newton, John Bateman and Jack Raines. Members with birthdays include Tom Debolt, Pierce Jordan, Glenna Lewis, Jim McLaughlin, Vicki Newton, Marjorie Raines and Rita Smith.
Refreshments were served following the meeting while members played a game of Bingo. JoAnn Walton was the lucky winner of the $80.00 prize. Our next meeting on Friday, Feb. 11, at 7:30 p.m. will have a $20 Bingo prize and a program provided by New Directions.
