MOUNT VERNON – Ruth Ann Myer, 80, of Mount Vernon passed away on Saturday, Dec. 25, 2021, at her residence. She was born on Aug. 14, 1941, in Danville to the late Paul (Duder) and Clara (Teeny) Rice Hull.
Ruth Ann graduated from East Knox High School in 1959. She worked for Ace Doran in Danville in the past, the Addressagraph Multigraph in Millersburg and the Ohio Eastern Star in Mount Vernon before she retired. Ruth Ann enjoyed gambling trips with her sisters and friends. She enjoyed spending time with her boyfriend of 2 years, Larry Campbell of Howard and pet companion, Carmella.
Ruth Ann is survived by her children, Colleen Myer of Mount Vernon, George L. (Gretta Leudke) Myer III of Wisconsin, Carolyn (Adrian) Wong of California and Christopher (Anitra) Myer of Danville; sisters, Paula (Dale) Veatch of Howard, Debra (Roger) Cooper of Howard and Brenda (Craig) Frost of Walhonding; brother, Howard (Linda) Hull of Howard; sister-in-law, Bonnie Hull of Mount Vernon; brother-in-law, Eldon Frye of Howard; nine grandkids and five great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Ruth Ann was preceded in death by a sister, Linda Frye; brother, Charles Hull; twin sons, Dean and David Myer; and her late husband, George L. Myer Jr.
The family will receive friends from 2-5 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 15, 2022, at the Flowers-Snyder Funeral Home, 619 East High St., Mount Vernon. A private inurnment will take place in Workman Cemetery, Danville.
