FREDERICKTOWN – Margaret Louise Jones, 83, of Fredericktown, died Thursday, Oct. 7, 2021, at Knox Community Hospital, in Mount Vernon.
Margaret was born Feb. 6, 1938, in Loudonville, to Victor Glenn and Marjorie (Ruth) Zimmerman.
She attended Loudonville High School
She married Lester Jones on April 4, 1989. He died on Sept. 28, 2010.
Margaret worked at many retail jobs. She was a lifelong member of Owl Creek Church of the Brethren in Ankenytown. Margaret loved everything about pianos. She also loved reading, puzzles, but most importantly being with family and friends.
Margaret will be deeply missed by her children Naomi Weirick, Rebecca Roberts, Linda (Eric) Jaycox, Karen Minnear, Nina Weirick, and Victor (Lisa) Weirick; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother John (Sherri) Zimmerman; and sisters Judith (Danny) Ross, and Betty Weimer
Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son Darrell, and brother Victor, and sister Ruth.
Friends may call Wednesday from 12 to 2 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home—Mount Vernon Chapel, Mount Vernon. Funeral services will follow at the funeral home with Rev. Charles W. Barnhill officiating.
