MOUNT VERNON – Danney "Bubba" Lee Hamilton, 52, of Mount Vernon passed away unexpectedly on July 19, 2021, at Knox Community Hospital. Danney was born in Norfolk, Va., to Danney Hamilton and Peggy (Starmer) Hamilton on March 6, 1969. Danney was known for his immeasurable love and enduring dedication to his family.
Danney was preceded in death by his father, Danney Hamilton; mother, Peggy Curry; and stepfathers, Kevin Curry and Kenny Martin.
Danney is survived by daughters, Heather Hagner and Ashley Hamilton; son, Christopher Hamilton; siblings, Marie (Michael) Curry, Chris (Mike) Martin, Dee (Dan) Wilson, Melissa (Nathan) Hines, Tim (Tric) Curry and Kevia (John) Calkins; and grandchildren, Damon and Verity Hamilton, as well as several nieces and nephews.
The family will have a private service at a later date.
