MOUNT VERNON – Everett L. Southall, 59, of Mount Vernon, passed away on Sunday, June 6, 2021, at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on Nov. 22, 1961, the son of Ronald and Dawn (Moir) Southall.

Everett was employed with Vermac Industries in Mount Vernon.

Everett was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed everything nature had to offer. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, mushroom hunting and searching for ginseng. He had an extensive collection of rocks, as he liked to pick out different patterns or colors. Everett was a member of the NRA.

He is survived by his wife, Tammy (Sinnett) Southall, whom he married on Aug. 16, 2005; his father; his children, Jeremy (Dr. Sarah) Becker of Visalia, California, Jacob Southall of Mount Vernon, Bobby (Haley) Ferenbaugh of Danville and Danielle (Ryan) Zornes of Mansfield; five grandchildren; and two brothers, William Foote of Danville and Ronald (Beverly) Foote of Gambier.

Everett was preceded in death by his mother and his sister, Debra Hissong.

Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday at the Dowds-Snyder Funeral Home, 201 Newark Road, Mount Vernon, OH 43050. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday in Newcastle Cemetery.
