MOUNT VERNON – Charles Norman Hull, 73, of Mount Vernon, passed away on Saturday, May 22, 2021, at his residence. He was born on Sept. 2, 1947, in Howard, to the late Paul and Clara (Rice) Hull.
Chuck graduated from East Knox High School and soon after joined the United States Army. He proudly served his country for two years. Chuck worked at American National Can. He was a member of the Amvets Post #95 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #4027. Chuck enjoyed woodworking, watching Ohio professional sports and was an avid Ohio State fan. Most of all he loved being around his family.
Chuck is survived by his loving wife, Bonnie (Delporte) Hull; daughter, April Hull; grandchild, Nicholas Hull; sisters, Ruth Ann Myer, Paula (Dale) Beatch and Debrah (Roger) Cooper, all of Howard, and Brenda (Craig) Frost of Walhonding; a brother, Howard (Linda) Hull of Howard; brother-in-law, Eldon Frye; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Along with his parents, Chuck was preceded in death by his sister, Linda Frye.
A private memorial service will be held with family, and a celebration of life service will take place at a later date.
