MOUNT VERNON – Mount Vernon’s TT Crouch will be running a junior golf league this summer.
The league is for boys and girls ages 10–18 and will run 10 a.m. – noon each Thursday from June 3 to July 29 at Hiawatha Golf Course. The league, sponsored by Scott Savage from Savage Pools and Patios and Dave Mentzer of Domino’s Pizza, will work on putting and chipping along with basic swing mechanics, offering on-course time.
“My goal is to give back to the community because the community gave me so much growing up,” Crouch said. “I grew up playing Junior League, and I want kids to have the same experience I did.”
