MOUNT VERNON – All Mount Vernon French students took the 2021 Grand Concours (National French Test) in mid-March.
Of the nearly 30,000 students who took the test from all 50 states, 16 MVHS students received special recognition for placing at or above the 50th percentile. The test is sponsored by the American Association of Teachers of French and this year was the 86th test.
The Mention d'honneur is for students who placed in the 50th–70th percentiles, bronze medals for those in the 75th or 80th percentiles, silver medals for those in the 85th or 90th percentiles and platinum medals for those in the 95th percentile or higher.
