MOUNT VERNON – Christina Lashley, a licensed practical nurse (LPN) at The Laurels of Mount Vernon, has been a member of the Laurel family for 16 years.

She was named Mount Vernon's Employee of the Year at the end of 2020 for her outstanding contributions to the facility.

"Christina goes above and beyond every day with her amazing bedside manner and clinical experience," Administrator Cassie Hauber said. "Christina is always the first to volunteer and help out her co-workers, and she truly strives to exceed expectations of The Laurel Way. She went above and beyond her nursing call of duty this past year and truly gave amazing care to our guests."
