MOUNT VERNON – The 2021 Main Street Mount Vernon Board of Directors was confirmed by the investors of the organization at their 2021 annual meeting.
The meeting took place on Thursday, Jan. 28, and was held virtually due to COVID-19 regulations.
As part of the meeting, Sara Stoessel of Knox Community Hospital was confirmed as board president for the 2021 year. Todd Taylor of Markt Solutions was named president-elect, while Lisa Lloyd (Knox County Foundation) and Vicki Coleman (Coleman Family Gallery) both extended their services as treasurer and secretary.
New board members were also approved by the investors in attendance. New board members include Jill Ballenger of Happy Bean Coffee Shop and Mount Vernon Nazarene University, Chef Nav Ajodhya of Half Baked Café and Catering, Pam Palm of Knox Public Health and Pam Rose of the Mount Vernon City School District.
