The Knox Memorial Theater in Mount Vernon, Ohio, is set to host Aaron Sorkin's renowned military courtroom drama, "A Few Good Men," from November 14 to 16. The play will be performed at 7:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, with a matinee at 2 p.m. on Sunday.

Produced in collaboration with the Mount Vernon Arts Consortium, the play is directed by Ian Fraser Ernsberger, who also plays Navy lawyer Lt. Daniel Kaffee. Ernsberger described the show as focusing on "moral courage" and standing up for what is right despite systemic opposition.

Originally debuting on Broadway in 1989 and later adapted into an Academy Award-nominated film, "A Few Good Men" follows the story of Lance Cpl. Dawson (Kale Oswalt) and PFC Downey (Devyn Hall), who are accused of murder. The narrative unfolds between Guantanamo Bay and a Washington, D.C., courtroom as Kaffee works alongside Lt. Cmdr. Joanne Galloway (Megan Evans) and Lt. Sam Weinberg (Mike Andrews) to defend them against prosecutor Lt. Jack Ross (Jeffrey Scott) and others.

The supporting cast includes Billy Woodring, Chase Tennant, Doug Browell, Nate Hoam, Steve Herbst, Jack Williams, Matt Snow, and Jayson Herbst.

Tickets for the performances are priced at $20 and can be purchased online through www.knoxmemorial.org or www.mvac.org, by phone at 740-462-4ART, or in person at the Mount Vernon Arts Consortium office or Knox Memorial Box Office before showtimes.

"A Few Good Men" is sponsored by Ariel Corporation and supported by both the Mount Vernon Arts Consortium and Knox County Veterans Services.

The Knox Memorial has been a cultural hub for over a century, offering live theatrical performances and educational opportunities while honoring local veterans. It continues to serve as a venue for local theater companies and touring artists.
