MOUNT VERNON – Nancy (Wolfe) Fletcher, 85, of Mount Vernon, passed away on Jan. 22 at Brookdale Senior Living following an extended illness. 

Born in Logan, Nancy was a 1954 graduate of St. Mary’s High School in Marion. After meeting her husband Ned, they married in New Jersey on May 29, 1957, and then later settled in Mount Vernon. Nancy enjoyed gardening, going to the beach, cooking and spending time with friends and family.

She is survived by her daughter, Kelly (Kevin) Stough of Blacklick; sister-in-law, Molly (Bruce) Schouten; cousin, Susan (Dick) Huggins; several special nieces, nephews, cousins and friends; and special caregiver, Vicky. 

Nancy was preceded in death by her husband, Ned; her parents, Harold (Obie) and Helen (Canty) Wolfe; and her brother, Dan Wolfe.

The family would like to thank the staff of Brookdale and Brookdale Hospice for the wonderful care they gave to Nancy. 

A private burial will take place at a later date.
