KNOX COUNTY – 2021 dog licenses can now be purchased from the Auditor's Office!
If you have a four-legged friend with an expiring license, their license must be renewed by Feb. 1, 2021. Get an annual license for $16, a three-year license for $48 or a permanent license for $160. While all are welcome to purchase a license in person at the 117 E. High St. office in Mount Vernon (Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.), we encourage you to consider mailing in your application or checking out our online option at www.doglicenses.us.
Rather go to the Dog Shelter for a renewal? The shelter sells annual licenses (not three-year or permanent ones) Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
