Nauman named D-5 Offensive Player of the Year

Joining Danville’s linebacker Levi Lyons, who Monday was named Division-VII Defensive Player of the Year, Highland’s junior running back Dane Nauman was named Division-V Offensive Player of the Year on Tuesday by the Ohio Prep Sportswriters Association, which also selected its All-Ohio teams.

Volleyball season saw deep playoff runs, school records, league leaders

In an eventful volleyball season locally, Highland and Cardington-Lincoln went deep into the playoffs and both teams won more than 20 games. Lady Pirate Audrey Brininger took all-league honors and Lady Scot Larsen Terrill took District honors and set a school record for assists.

Two local volleyball players earned Player of the Year honors, with Cardington-Lincoln’s Audrey Brininger selected as KMAC Player of the Year and Highland’s Larsen Terrill earning Central District D2 Co-Player of the Year recognition.
