Two local volleyball players earned Player of the Year honors, with Cardington-Lincoln’s Audrey Brininger selected as KMAC Player of the Year and Highland’s Larsen Terrill earning Central District D2 Co-Player of the Year recognition. Forty local student-athletes earned conference honors in volleyball this season.
Knox-Morrow Athletic Conference – KMAC
By virtue of a perfect 12-0 KMAC season and a 22-3 overall record, KMAC conference champion Cardington-Lincoln placed two players on this year’s KMAC Volleyball First Team and two on the Second Team and saw its court leader, Audrey Brininger, selected as KMAC Player of the Year, with Ryan Treese named Coach of the Year. Centerburg (9-3) and Northmor (6-6) each had two players earn First Team status, while Fredericktown (9-3) and Danville (2-10) each had one First Team placement.
For the season, through 25 games, including non-conference matches, Brininger has 375 kills in 75 sets, 34 aces with an 85.7% service rate, 23 blocks and 228 digs. In 12 KMAC conference matches, Brininger amassed 191 kills in 36 sets, 16 aces, nine blocks and 94 digs.

Mid-Ohio Athletic Conference
Highland was Co-MOAC champion with a 13-1 mark (and 23-3 overall) but saw its 136-match conference winning streak end with a 3-2 loss to Galion, also 13-1 in MOAC play. The streak started when the Scots were in the MOAC and continued during Highland’s five-year run in the Knox Morrow Athletic Conference before re-joining the MOAC this year. Earning MOAC First Team honors for Highland were two of its best – Larsen Terrill and Kameron Stover. Terrill was also named Co-Player of the Year in the Central District D2 with Ella Brandewie of Bishop Hartley, who has committed to Ohio State. Terrill has had 152 kills in 84 sets overall, with 66 aces, an 88.9% service rate, 17 blocks, 295 digs and 771 assists. In MOAC play, she accumulated 90 kills in 46 sets, 37 aces, nine blocks, 168 digs and 447 assists.
