General Assembly Kids and General Assembly Kids Quiz will be part of the 31st General Assembly and Conventions, providing child and family discipleship during evening services from June 25 to June 27, 2027. The program will serve as an intentional ministry for kids and families attending the event.
GA Kids is set to include services for early childhood and elementary students, an intergenerational worship service, and opportunities for families to connect with the global Nazarene community. Organizers say these activities will be offered at a minimal cost.
Sam Barber, global director of Nazarene Discipleship International, said, “The 31st General Assembly and Conventions promises to be a historic gathering of Nazarenes from around the world. General Assembly Kids is back and stronger than ever! Like the ministries of our Nazarene churches, General Assembly and Conventions 2027 will have a place for everyone who attends.”
Programming includes age-specific services on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday evenings for early childhood (ages three years old through kindergarten) and elementary students (grades one through six). The Sunday morning service during the assembly will feature an intergenerational format with all ages present. Planning is overseen by the General Assembly Kids Leadership Team led by Trey and Candice Brooks.
Candice Brooks said, “Trey and I are thankful again in 2027 to be part of an amazing team leading General Assembly Kids and investing in the lives of the families. Your kids and family will not want to miss it! We hope to see your entire family at General Assembly Kids 2027!”
Families are also invited to attend the General Assembly Kids Quiz on Saturday, June 26. Trey Brooks said, “The Quizzing Leadership Team and Quizzing Advisory Team are preparing for quizzers to come and celebrate all they have learned from Exodus. All quizzers who studied the book of Exodus in the 2026-2027 season are invited to General Assembly Kids Quiz. This will be an unforgettable experience.”
