Paragraphs Bookstore announced that the writing workshop with Ohio author Robin Yocum, originally cancelled due to January's Snowmageddon, has been rescheduled for April 6 at 7:00 p.m.
The event, titled "Liftoff to Publishing," will guide writers from the initial idea stage through to seeing their work in bookstores. According to the announcement, "This is book writing and publishing - A-Z. How to start with an idea and a blank sheet of paper and follow through on writing a book to completion. The session will cover idea generation, the writing process, and overcoming the pitfalls, distractions and negativity that keep writers from finishing a book. The session will also cover tips on finding an agent and getting your book to the finish line."
The workshop is free and open to everyone interested in writing.
Yocum's session aims to provide practical advice for aspiring authors looking for guidance on both creative development and navigating the publishing industry.
Further details about this event can be found on the official roster page.
