Knox County Chamber announces five ribbon cuttings for April events

The Knox County Chamber of Commerce announced five ribbon cutting ceremonies scheduled throughout April, inviting residents and community supporters to celebrate local businesses and organizations.

These events offer opportunities for the public to connect with business owners, explore new spaces, and support economic growth in Knox County. The Chamber said these celebrations are intended to foster community engagement and highlight ongoing development efforts.

The first event will be held at the Heart of Ohio Playground in Centerburg Memorial Park on Thursday, April 2 at 4:30 p.m., where families are encouraged to attend and enjoy food provided by Centerburg Church of Christ. Jackie K’s Vintage Venue will host its ribbon cutting on Thursday, April 9 from noon to 12:30 p.m. at 120 S. Main Street, Mount Vernon, with a grand opening celebration planned for Saturday, April 11 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The Gallery on Gambier will hold its ceremony on Friday, April 10 from noon to 1 p.m. at 14 E. Gambier Street, Mount Vernon. The gallery features work by more than twenty Ohio artists and offers stained glass classes as well as custom framing services. CES Credit Union’s Yauger Road Office will celebrate its newly renovated lobby with a ribbon cutting on Wednesday, April 15 from 4 to 5:30 p.m., where guests can meet President & CEO Mike Copley and Service Center Manager Daniel Stewart. Sponsler Automotive’s grand opening is set for Monday, April 20 from 11 a.m. to noon at 500 Harcourt Road in Mount Vernon, featuring renovations and barbecue from Grindhouse Barbecue.
