All Souls Unitarian Universalist Church of Bellville will host a talk by Rainbow Eagle, also known as Rolland J. Williston, on Sunday, March 8, 2026 at 10:30 a.m.
The event will focus on "About Today & Future Prophecies From Indigenous Cultures." Rainbow Eagle is a member of the Okla-Choctaw Nation in Oklahoma and has participated in international conferences and taught overseas extensively over the past four decades.
According to information released by the church, Rainbow Eagle was honored to participate in the International UFO Congress in 2011 and has taught overseas 47 times in the past 40 years. He describes his personal vision as being given to him by the Great Mystery through major ceremonies: "To be in the midst of many Native communities and traditions, and to have a strong relationship with Mother Earth. To visit Indigenous elders in order to recover as much of the ancient knowledge as possible. To conduct various ceremonies patterned after elders and his personal vision."
Rainbow Eagle also shares teachings from an ancient Peace Shield drawing that he received during visits with Erv Romans (PEN-NA-SHE of the Martin Clan), described as the last of the Ontonagon Band of Ojibwe/Anishinabeg. His second book, Native American Spirituality: A Walk in the Woods, includes teachings related to natural spirituality, Peace Shield teachings, prophecies from North and South America, and spiritual guidance about preparing for cosmic relationships.
His third book is titled The Ancient Roots of Christianity: A Native American’s Look Through Christianity. In reference to Christianity, he says, "Until we have the courage to ask questions about our spiritual roots, whether they are from Christian, Native American, or other traditions, we will remain separated from our true spiritual identity." He adds that "It’s not about finding the most pure form of Christianity, but more about how each individual can experience Yeshua personally."
