Danville kept its grip on Loudonville, rolling to a 75–19 win in Friday’s conference matchup. The Blue Devils doubled down on their Jan. 6 victory with an even more dominant showing.
The game took place on January 30, at Danville High School.
Danville’s performance was defined by a highly efficient offensive display, fueled by a field goal percentage that far outpaced their opponents. They moved the ball with exceptional precision, recording more than three times the number of assists as the other team. This unselfish play allowed them to find high-quality shots throughout the night, particularly from beyond the arc where they remained consistently dangerous.
Defensively, they were absolute ball hawks, disrupting passing lanes to rack up a massive total of 22 steals. These forced turnovers allowed them to dominate the pace of the game and control the flow of transition play. While they were slightly edged out at the free-throw line, their sheer volume of possessions and superior rebounding ensured they remained in complete command from start to finish.
Danville heads to Ridgedale for a non‑conference matchup on Tuesday, Feb. 10 at 7:30 p.m., and the Blue Devils look ready to make a statement.
That road matchup will mark the first varsity boys basketball meeting between Danville and Ridgedale.
