Stevenson Elementary School is calling on families and community members to help stock festive raffle baskets for its upcoming Holly Jolly Open House, scheduled for Wednesday, Dec.3, from 5 to 7 p.m.
The school is collecting themed donations to fill the baskets, which will be raffled off during the event. Requested items included Christmas-themed goods, holiday candies, game night materials, pet supplies, Bath & Body Works products, and even lottery tickets. Contributions may be dropped off at the school os sent in with students through Tuesday, Nov. 25. By donating early, families can ensure the baskets are well-stocked and ready to delight attendees. The raffle is one of the highlights planned for the open house.
Kids and families can look forward to an exciting evening as organizers intend to make it a fun one for everyone. Attendees can expect dinner, craft stations, a classroom door decorating contest, and a visit from Santa Claus. Children will also surely enjoy purchasing small gifts at the Secret Santa Shop.
In addition to supporting he school's holiday program, the event will serve as a collection point for non-perishable food donations benefiting the Licking County Food Pantry. Families are encouraged to bring canned goods and other shelf-stable items to contribute to the drive.
