A group of Mount Vernon Middle School students has been recognized for earning a 4.0 grade point average during the first quarter of the 2025–26 academic year. The school announced that these students achieved perfect marks, highlighting their commitment to academic achievement.
The eighth-grade students named are Audrey Cheng, Asher Colgan, Adelle Curry, Lily Grassbaugh, Jacob Hawkins, Lucy Hunsen, Vincent Jiang, Vera Keller, Joan Mejia Becerril, Avalyn Moss, Clara Mussard, Zoey Pozworski, Bayoni Weikel and Alexandra White.
Seventh graders who earned this distinction include Alexandra Bonvillain, Alexander Busenburg, Jane Camillus, Bryce Elchert, Eleanor Goodman, Elizabeth Holler, Dallas Holmes, Kelsey McCallen, Christian Patrick, Jordyn Plumly, Hera Randall, Rubi Romero, Serenity Sexton and Vivian Weaver.
Sixth-grade honorees are Axton Albert, Weston Anderson, Jaret Armstrong, Guinevere Brady, Carson Broseus, Jason Cheng, Azalea Colgan, Daniel Garn, Vivian Holloway, Renee Hurley, Norah Mack, Logan Samples, Reagan Stump, Clayton Toney, Clark Welter and Lila Witham.
