Fredericktown National Honor Society will host a community fundraiser at Chipotle on Wednesday, Nov. 12, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Mount Vernon location, 857 Coschocton Avenue.
The society will benefit from a portion of the sales.
"25% of event sales get donated to the cause," a social media flyer reads.
Supporters can participate by dining in and showing the official flyer or by ordering online for pickup using the code M6YP6AW. All purchases must be made at the designated location and within the scheduled time frame. Delivery orders and gift card purchases are excluded, and a minimum of $150 in total event sales is required for the donation to be activated.
Funds raised will help support student-led projects and leadership development opportunities. The Fredericktown National Honor Society promotes scholarship, service, leadership, and character among high-achieving students.
The Chipotle fundraiser is the latest in a series of impactful efforts by the group. In September, members hosted a successful blood drive for the American Red Cross, collecting 32 units, which can help save up to 96 lives. In October 2024, the chapter presented a $1,045.25 donation to the Red Cross for hurricane relief, raised through a student-organized bake sale.
Last December, members volunteered at the Peacemeal event hosted by Cornerstone Community Church, helping distribute more than 700 meals to those in need. These efforts truly represent the chapter’s ongoing commitment to community service and civic engagement.
Organizers encourage families and supporters to participate in the Nov. 12 fundraiser and continue backing the students’ mission to serve and lead.
