Adapted from the novel by Frances Eliza Hodgson Burnett, “The Little Princess” will be performed for two consecutive weeks at Crossroads Theater.

Show dates are Nov. 14, 15, 21, and 22. Performances begin at 7 p.m., with doors opening at 6:30 p.m. General admission is $10. Tickets are available online at ohiodrama.com or orange-barrel-production-company-806684.square.site. Cash and credit cards will be accepted at the door.

The Orange Barrel Production Company (OBPC) promises "it's going to be a great show!"

The production tells the story of a young girl whose kindness and resilience endure despite overwhelming hardship. Suitable for all ages, the performance offers a meaningful experience for families to enjoy together.

"They have been working hard since JULY to present their very best to you!" the organizers added.

“The Little Princess” is not the first production staged by OBPC at Crossroads Theater. Last year, they presented “Anne of Green Gables: The Early Years,” a beloved classic written by Lucy Maud Montgomery and adapted for the OBPC stage.

The Crossroads Theater is located on the campus of the Mount Vernon Developmental Center at 1250 Vernonview Drive, Mt. Vernon. Guests are advised to enter through the main entrance and follow the drive, past the pond, and continue up the curving hill to the large, multi-level Administration Building—the first building on the right. Parking is available behind the building. Crossroads Theater is located immediately to the left upon entering the facility.

According to their website, the "Orange Barrel Production Company (OBPC), performing in Mt. Vernon, Ohio, is dedicated to the education and cultural enrichment of young and old to the theatrical experience, both on stage and in the audience." The organization is dedicated to presenting high-quality performing arts in central Ohio, with a focus on productions that are both inspiring and appropriate for audiences of all ages. Its mission centers on creating meaningful experiences that families can enjoy together, fostering a love for the arts through uplifting and accessible programming.
