The Mount Vernon Nazarene University women's volleyball team, ranked 12th nationally, secured a decisive victory against Goshen College on Senior Day. The match took place at Ariel Arena in Mount Vernon, Ohio, where MVNU triumphed with set scores of 25-7, 25-13, and 25-16.

Before the game, the university recognized its senior players: Faith Maloney, Ashley Merrick, Reagan Nuss, Grace Pratt, and Jaelyn Tang. This group has been instrumental in achieving 109 wins and leading the team to national tournaments over the past two seasons.

Morgan Schlabach was a standout player for MVNU with 11 kills and a .350 hitting percentage. Faith Maloney contributed significantly with 10 kills and a .381 hitting percentage. Libby Evanshine and Evelyn Brown each recorded five kills with an impressive .625 hitting percentage. Additionally, Brown made five blocks during the match. Reagan Nuss added to the team's success with 28 assists and eight digs, while Merrick and Tang each provided six digs.

The Lady Cougars will next face Grace College at Ariel Arena on Wednesday, October 29 at 6:00 p.m.
