Faculty and staff at Mount Vernon Nazarene University gathered in Foster Hall to recognize two colleagues for their contributions to the university. Dr. Elizabeth Napier, Associate Professor of Education in the College of Arts and Sciences, and Jackie Dove, Senior Applications Specialist for the College of Adult and Professional Studies, received the Excellence in the Call awards on Wednesday.

The awards are presented quarterly and honor employees who demonstrate outstanding service, innovation, collegiality, peer leadership, and go beyond their regular duties. Recipients are recognized during an employee reception and receive a certificate along with a $500 award. The program is developed and sponsored by faculty and staff donors.

President Dr. Carson Castleman was present at the ceremony alongside Rev. Dave Mills, Vice President for Spiritual Life and Church Relations.
