Centerburg Schools is inviting elementary parents to attend the annual Open House on Monday, August 11, as the district prepares to welcome students back for the new school year.
According to school officials, the event is designed to help families meet teachers and familiarize themselves with the classrooms and school environment before the first day of classes. Kindergarten families are invited from 5 to 6 p.m., while parents of students in grades 1 through 5 are encouraged to attend between 6 and 7:30 p.m.
School officials remind parents that completing final enrollment forms is required to receive teacher assignments. The school asks families to ensure all paperwork is submitted promptly so that students’ classroom information can be released during the Open House.
"This event offers a great opportunity for parents and students to connect with staff and prepare for a successful school year," said a district spokesperson. Centerburg Schools encourages all elementary families to take advantage of this chance to get answers to any questions and get comfortable with the school setting before classes begin.
