North Fork Local Schools have released their latest back-to-school updates, including key dates and procedures for Newton and Utica Elementary families.
Kindergarten orientation will be held Thursday, Aug. 14 at 5:30 p.m., followed by an open house from 6–7 p.m. Classes begin at 9 a.m. and end at 3:30 p.m. daily, and families are reminded to ensure students arrive promptly, as instruction begins on time.
Utica Middle School and Utica High School families must submit and receive approval for back-to-school forms before picking up student schedules. Schedule pick-up and school pictures will take place in the MS/HS cafeteria on Aug. 11 from 8:30 a.m.–3 p.m. and Aug. 13 from 8:30 a.m.–4 p.m. The first week of school includes iPad distribution for students who have completed their forms. MS/HS classes run from 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Transportation updates include contact from bus drivers before the first day of school. Families are asked to regularly check North Fork’s transportation page and email inboxes for new instructions.
