Ansley Daubenmier has been awarded the ACEL Centennial Scholarship by the Department of Agricultural Communication, Education, and Leadership at The Ohio State University. Daubenmier, a native of Mount Vernon, Ohio, will major in agricultural communication.

The scholarship is intended for incoming freshmen studying agricultural communication, agriscience education, or community leadership at one of Ohio State’s six campuses. It provides financial assistance for the first four semesters of enrollment in the department.

ACEL focuses on preparing communicators, educators, and leaders in food, agricultural, and environmental sciences. The department aims to integrate research-based learning with practice and engagement to foster positive changes that benefit individuals, families, and communities.
