Faculty and staff at Mount Vernon Nazarene University (MVNU) convened in Foster Hall on April 24 to recognize Anita Beal and Trinia Huddleston for their commitment to the institution's mission. During the Excellence in the Call awards reception, both individuals were celebrated for their contributions to MVNU.
Anita Beal serves as the Assistant to the Registrar, while Trinia Huddleston holds the position of Assistant Director of Student Engagement. The two were acknowledged for their commitment and were presented with a certificate, a $500 reward, and recognition at the employee reception.
Present at the gathering were Executive Vice President Dr. Colleen Derr and President Dr. Carson Castleman, who participated in congratulating the award recipients. The quarterly award aims to honor service, innovation, collegiality, peer leadership, and efforts that surpass usual duties. This recognition is developed and sponsored by faculty and staff donors and finds its recipients through nominations by peers.
